Last November, I received an email from Bethany, of Bethany Erin Photography, to help style and coordinate an editorial for her new brand. She had me at Jane Austen! Bethany’s style is timeless, full of stories, well loved details with a European flare and downright romantically classic. So, when she presented her vision for her brand and the shoot, I jumped right on board. Despite the fact that I had a wedding two days prior to the shoot, it was well worth the long weekend and rain we raced against! Not to mention, we are so honored to have this wedding editorial featured in the pages of the current issue of Magnolia Rouge Magazine!!!

To be fully transparent, Bethany had done the majority of the leg work already, as this was her passion project. However, we did need a few last minute details and rentals which we were able to procure within a week! I also borrowed all of the silver, flatware, crystal and china from my mom’s collection, which makes these images that much more special. We shot at the Trinity Institute, which has such beautiful old world charm (when you’re in certain rooms!). The old windows, beautiful color of the walls, aged wood and classic details made it the perfect backdrop for the vision.

Bethany’s brand is so romantic, classic and hearkens old world European charm with soft colors and delicious light. If you look at any of her images, I guarantee you will see all of things every time. When selecting the pieces and details for this shoot, we wanted everything to have a story and feel like it was already part of something wonderful; that we were simply adding to the impressive life each piece had already lived. Each vendor and artist that were part of this editorial are truly amazing and have such a passion for what they do. Enjoy a few of my favorites and don’t forget to order yourself a copy of Issue 17!
