This week we are rounding up all of the fun design and storytelling pieces of planning! These are the parts that you have likely been dreaming about since you were younger. Your colors, design elements, dress and all of the other details that tell your story!

First things first, the 3 D’s – Dress, Design and Details! Don’t miss why finding your dress can affect the rest of your design and even your venue.

Then, you need to gather inspiration, decide if there is any overarching theme that is meaningful to you and your fiancé, determine your wedding style, colors and start pulling together a cohesive look for your celebration.Those are all elements and ideas that help lay the ground work for you to really dive into the details and tell your love story through the design. As fun as the pretty pieces are, I do insist that you take to heart the unique elements of your love story. Your relationship, your hobbies and your journey should be the overarching details that you incorporate into your day. I share more of why I take that approach to all of my clients’ designs in this post.
